Mediagistic recently has been promoted from being a Google Partner to being a Premier Google Partner. According to Google Product Management Director Richard Holden, “In order to become a Premier Partner, companies must jump over a number of hurdles. They must subject themselves to vetting and scrutiny by Google.”
The new status is a major upgrade to the agency’s status with the world’s largest, most successful search engine. Over the past few months, the Mediagistic team has worked hard to meet the criteria (which includes certification, performance, and spend requirements) necessary to be upgraded. Most significant among these requirements is the “performance requirement,” which is fulfilled by “delivering solid overall AdWords revenue and growth, and maintaining and growing your customer base.”
This distinction only is awarded to 3 percent of all partnered agencies. It also means that Mediagistic now has access to more benefits and greater support including:
- A dedicated agency account strategist that can offer strategic support with our major campaigns
- The ability to opt into Beta tests, which allows us to get our customers into Google’s most cutting-edge programs
- A dedicated agency development manager to provide strategic input and insights/data from Google’s internal tools and resources
